Spay or Neuter
Neutering Dogs. In Depth
Although there are reasons to spay or neuter your pet, we do not recommend that you spay or neuter your Rottweiler until he or she is fully developed, because hormones play a role in the maturity of muscular, skeletal, temperament and immune system development.

Moderate controlled exercise is the best for a growing Rottweiler. Keep their weight on the lean side. Too much weight is hard on their rapid growing joints.
